"Clinical Driver Evaluations" has been approved by GOTA's Continuing

Education Program for 10 direct contact hours.

After completion of the 10 hour course, participants should be able to:

Apply knowledge of medical conditions with implications to driving
Assess the cognitive, visual, perceptual, behavioral and physical limitations that may impact driving performance
Integrate the clinical findings with assessment of on-road performance
Synthesize client and caregiver needs and assist in decisions about available options
Coordinate with multidisciplinary providers to provide resources related to the needs of clients.

Clinical Aromatherapy for OT Practice course on March 15th and 16th in Norcross, GA. The course will cover: Defining clinical aromatherapy and how it supports occupational performance. State and national guidelines for use in OT practice. Documentation and reimbursement. Aromatherapy safety. Application and intervention strategies across the lifespan. The course will be hybrid with 3 hours of synchronous virtual learning on Friday, 3/15 in the evening and 6 hours of in-person lecture and hands-on labs on Saturday, 3/16.
