Dry Needling InitiativeGOTA is investigating the possibility of opening our practice act to include dry needling for OT. We are addressing the following questions:1. What is the interest in dry needling among OT/OTAs in Georgia?2. How is dry needling currently being used within OT?3. What does the evidence say about the use/effectiveness of dry needling?4. How would this be reimbursed?5. What education/training will be required?6. Would dry needling be taught in schools?7. How would competency be determined?8. What guidelines do other states have?
