To avoid conflict with the Licensure Compact Meeting on 11/10 meeting moved to November 17th.

East Region 2020 meetings: January, March, May, July, September and November on the 2nd Tuesday, 5:30-7, with one hour CEU certificates earned.

Stay tuned for the new line up of meetings every other month on the 2nd Tuesday, 5:30-6 p.m. business meeting, 6-7 p.m. professional continuing education presentation.  GOTA East District is supportive and eager to meet the professional needs of our OT providers involved in providing care on the life continuum.

The East Region will be having the Georgia Occupational Therapy Association meeting on November 17, 2020. The business meeting will start at 6:30pm, and the presentation will start at 7:00pm.  The presentation will be on Web-Ex.  This month’s presentation is “Conquering the Fieldwork Experience Assessment Tool (FEAT), don’t admit deFEAT”.  Valarie Chapman OTR/L and fieldwork coordinator at Augusta Technical College will be the presenter for the evening.  This presentation is focusing on clearing up the confusion that is experienced when fieldwork educators and students are filling out the FEAT form during level II fieldwork experiences.  We look forward to seeing you there.
