I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the North Region. If you were in the Northwest District before the changes, you may already know me since I was the Chair for that district but with our new “North Region” we have a much wider area now. Part of my job as your Regional Representative is to keep communication between the Board and the members of the North Region. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns you can e-mail me and I will do my best to help you. At the last count, we currently have 51 members in the North Region. This includes OTRs, COTAs, and students. We need to recruit our friends and colleagues to join GOTA and connect the OTs in the North Region! GOTA’s Board and committees have been working very hard to make sure that your membership dues are working for the OTs of Georgia. GOTA supports us in many, many ways.
