"Clinical Driver Evaluations" has been approved by GOTA's Continuing

Education Program for 10 direct contact hours.

After completion of the 10 hour course, participants should be able to:

Apply knowledge of medical conditions with implications to driving
Assess the cognitive, visual, perceptual, behavioral and physical limitations that may impact driving performance
Integrate the clinical findings with assessment of on-road performance
Synthesize client and caregiver needs and assist in decisions about available options
Coordinate with multidisciplinary providers to provide resources related to the needs of clients.

2017 GHUESIG Conference

April 28-29, 2017| Georgia Coastal Center | Savannah, Georgia

Surgeons and therapists from across the country cover clinical topics including myofascial release, soft tissue mobilization techniques to manage stiff wrists, exercise prescription, assessing the upper extremity, the thumb, tendon repairs, the shoulder, the damaged throwing elbow, splinting labs and more. We will also have cadaver labs with four anatomical specimens & sessions related to the administrative side of therapy. There are 16 available CEUs and something for everyone, OTs, PTs, PAs and ATCs.
