Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training for Exceptional Children Part 1:

Location: 3270 Kingshouse Commons Johns Creek, GA. 30022

The retention or reactivation of primitive reflexes is the key underlying cause of many cognitive, physical, and behavioral problems.  When reflexes do not integrate as expected, they interfere with appropriate development.  Retained reflexes may contribute to hyperactivity, dyslexia, disruptive behavior, odd sitting/writing postures, poor memory, concentration, coordination – and much more, even in high functioning children, teens or adults.

Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training (RMT), “the missing link”, is a movement-based program utilizing passive and active movements and isometric integration techniques.  These movements replicate the spontaneous, innate movement patterns babies make during the first year of life which are essential for maturing and developing their brain and nervous system, and necessary to integrate the primitive reflexes into postural reflexes in order for the child to progress and mature physically, emotionally, and intellectually.

BRMT experiential courses cover the reflex function, testing, symptoms, observation, integration techniques and practical games and activities for groups/individuals.
